We recently hired Modern Tile and Renovation to repair our second-story outdoor porch that had been installed incorrectly, and they exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, they were hard-working, punctual, and incredibly clean. They left the worksite spotless every day, which was especially appreciated given the messiness of tile work. Their attention to detail was excellent and the job looks fantastic.One of the most impressive aspects was how they fixed an unfortunate error that occurred during the job. A small downpour sprung up quickly while the old porch was being demolished. Water got into our downstairs. Bob and his team repaired all damage immediately, and even took extra steps to ensure it wouldn’t happen again. Their dedication to quality and integrity was evident throughout the project. Hands down, this is the best contractor I’ve ever worked with! We couldn’t be happier with the results and wholeheartedly recommend Modern Tile for any tile or repair job.
In a an attempt to make you and the customer happy, I’ll give you two options. I will provide you the material and you can do the job or you can pay my guy $300 to spray the entire job. The choice is yours.The customer had a reasonable requests and so did modern tile. The only area of any concern in the entire entire bathroom was a bit of rough spot, which is an easy fix, but they wanted to complain and Yellow about it instead of letting fix

When I was having trouble with my tile floor and built in stool in my shower, the first thing I did was look at Google reviews for tile repair shops.. Well.. Modern Tile was at the top of the list with a perfect score.. and it was just down the street from me.. So I called and made an appointment.. The owner Bob came over right away and looked at the mess I had and got me a quote very quickly.. I went ahead with Bob and his crew and we could not be HAPPIER!! They really are a 5 star crew!! Bob is so knowledgeable!! And his workers do INCREDIBLE work!! As his crew tore apart my floor and stool they found all sorts of water damage and did such an amazing job getting everything torn out and put back together.. We are so glad we went with Modern Tile and I can’t recommend them enough.. I only write these reviews when I get work done like I did with Bob and his crew.. So if you are in need of any Tile work I Higly recommend giving them a call.. You won’t be disappointed!! Thank You again for all your hard and great work!! We Love our shower again!! 💙
Modern Tile and Renovation LLC did an amazing job with our basement remodel. Bob Hoover and his team were extremely professional and enjoyable to work with. Modern Tile worked closely with us from the early stages of design ideas and completely transformed a space that we absolutely love and use all of the time. Bob and the entire team were great to work with from start to finish. They designed for the space we had and turned our basement from storage mess to extra usable square footage for our family.
We worked with Bob and the team at Modern Tile and Renovation to renovate our 3rd floor living space and bathroom. Bob redesigned the layout of both the bathroom and living space to make it all feel bigger and more useable. We were skeptical about keeping the 90 year old hardwood floor as sections were missing and it had a dark shellac finish. Bob’s team replaced the missing sections so well you wouldn’t even know where they were. The floor is now a light natural color and it looks amazing! It was a great process because Bob communicated very well and his workers showed up on time, were very courteous, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Any time we had questions, he answered them promptly and was open to changes during the project. We would work with Bob again for other home renovation projects. It was a great experience and we love the finished product!
Bob and crew did a great job converting a bedroom into a master bathroom and walk-in closet with access through the master bedroom. The contract was very detailed and fair so we understood what we were getting, worked through changes, understood the cost of everything and what our allowances were. This assured we were on the same page and allowed us to reduce the cost where we wanted and add where we felt it was worth it. Communication was excellent. We Always received a text or email the night before confirming who was arriving when. The crew were all great and I felt safe that they were in our house. Excellent quality work. I would definitely recommend them! We love our new bathroom and closet. The pictures of the closet are not complete as we chose to do the painting and closet inserts ourselves.
